3Level 50 is Important
The first goal for every new guardian is to reach level 50. Completing the story campaign has proven to be your best shot at this. 2The Road to 550 is Hard

Power in the game is closely tied to the stats of your weapons. This is increased by getting better and better equipment since each gear has a certain power level attached to it. The average of all gear determines your power level.
Since most of the weapons you will be using will be blue and purple gear, it is recommended that you equip the highest all gear, regardless of stats just so you can reach the soft power cap.
In the latest expansion, the soft power cap is 500, with an additional 20 and 60 soft power cap that takes you to higher areas such as Dreaming City.
1Push It to the Limit
As soon as your power level reaches 500, the real fun begins. This is the point where you will start acquiring end-game gear through scouring the solar system for the best loot. One you acquire the best loot, you can then start taking on the eng-game raid “Last Wish”.
With power level 500 you can also explore the eng-game area, Dreaming City. You can also do Leviathan Raid, Curse of Osiris Raid, Eater of Worlds Raid, and the Warmind’s Raid, Spire of Stars.
