Written by Jonathan Stroud, it is the next best thing after the Harry Potter series with supernatural elements and the historical past.

6. Maze Runner
This book, written by James Dashner, is a great mystery and a thriller read. The whole eeriness seeps into your brain when you realize that our main characters wake up to a completely unknown place with almost little to no memory.
