Being popular means that you have a certain influence on people. Namely, since celebrities are followed by a large number of fans or admirers of their work and deeds, it means that a certain group, i.e. the percentage of fans will want to do everything as their favorite star do.

Either way, perhaps the biggest influences are in terms of dressing, different views, but also diet. There seems to be a lot of talk in the media in recent years about healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle, and of course, there is nothing wrong with that. The goal is to live as healthy as possible and eat that way, too.

However, when celebrities talk about diet, it can have negative consequences. For example, Miley Cyrus is one of those celebrities who has a lot of fans, but also one of those who provoke attention and comments on various levels, from the way she dresses to the aforementioned diet.

Yes, the fact is that Miley also has a lot of critics. However, perhaps it is her fault for the sometimes bad comments.

For example, some of her actions lately can be considered careless. Namely, if you follow this famous American singer and songwriter, you probably know that until recently she promoted a vegan diet.

You’d think, “Okay, that’s all great, she promotes a healthy lifestyle, not killing animals, conserving nature, etc.” Of course, we absolutely agree with those views. However, if as a celebrity you are influencing your fans to give up eating meat and become vegan, then you definitely need to support that at all times.

That’s what Miley didn’t do when it comes to being vegan and supporting this diet. Yes, she was indeed vegan for a while, as was her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. However, not so long ago, Miley decided to change her views on veganism, and also that she no longer wants to be vegan.

Okay, it’s absolutely understandable if someone doesn’t want to be vegan, vegetarian, or whatever. You just can’t do without certain foods in your diet and that’s fine.
However, as Miley said in a recent guest appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, she stopped being vegan as well as the following:

“I was vegan for a very long time and I’ve had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn’t functioning properly.”

Wow, wait a minute! Did she mean that due to the vegan diet, her brain cannot function properly? If so, then Miley was very wrong and sent a bad message to her vegan fans.
Yes, it’s okay if she doesn’t want to be vegan or thinks it’s not healthy for her. However, to state publicly that due to the lack of omegas in the diet, her “brain was not functioning properly”, it is bad and above all incorrect.

Every nutritionist will tell you that omegas are also found in foods that can be consumed by vegans, or plant-based foods.

Okay, we know that Miley still supports not killing animals, also that she has dozens of pets at home. However, all of this is fine except for a reckless statement about the vegan diet and the proper functioning of the brain. This is not true in the first place, and it can also make people think that such a diet is harmful.
